Hi all!

Currently 1 DPO, first time ovulating since having a chemical at the beginning of the month. Been TTC for a year with a miscarriage in September.

Anxieties all over the shop and hoping for a quick conception, haha!

Would love to hear some post chemical stories and anyone who maybe on a similar journey! This TTC malarkey is so lonely!!!

Iv just had a chemical and im going to try again when did you ovulate after the chemical was it a couple weeks? Sorry I can't help your situation but wanted you to know you're not alone 🙂

I’m between 2dpo and 4dpo (OPKs and BBT suggest different for the first time ever!) I’ve had 4 chemicals in the last year plus a MMC. Also been TTC a year. Happy to join you on your TWW!

Aw I'm sorry to hear that, I have ovulated earlier than usual actually, I am usually 17/18 DPO and ovulated CD14. Now 2 DPO :)

Some people say fertility is enhanced after a chemical, and I have a friend currently 6m pregnant and it was the cycle immediately after a chemical. So good luck ☺️

Oh wow really? I still have stomach pains iv had the chemical this week I feel awful so bloated hard to imagine it happening to me at all never mind this next cycle.

@Itonlytakesone I don't think there's any research on that. But it seems to happen to a lot of people and it might be because the body hasn't returned to the baseline by the time you next ovulate, so technically still getting ready for pregnancy. I once saw a poll in here and a lot of people voted they conceived the cycle after. So hopefully that will bring you some relief to what you are currently going through (really sorry to hear it!).

I've heard this but wasn't sure if there's much truth into it!!!
