BFP but absolutely terrified

I had a pregnancy loss in November with twins. I'm absolutely TERRIFIED this will be twins and I'll have to go through everything again.

Please can someone reassure me that they had a similar line with only one baby?

I'm so excited to be pregnant again but so scared history will repeat itself!

I'm due on tomorrow apparently and currently 14dpo, so technically not late yet. Top test was taken yesterday afternoon about 3pm, bottom was taken just now on second morning urine.

Please no hate. I'm scared!

I always got very strong lines (I'm always surprised by how weak they often are on here) and never had twins.

Hi OP, sorry for your loss. I also lost a twin pregnancy but I actually never had a particularly darker positive than usual, so I don't really believe the strength of the lines has much to do with it. I think it's unlikely to be twins again just based on chance... it's funny because I absolutely long for another twin pregnancy even though it ended in such an emotionally painful way (TFMR at 16 weeks).
Even if it is twins, I would try to not let what happened before consume you. Every pregnancy is so different and your previous experiences should have no bearing on this pregnancy (obviously I don't know the circumstances of your last loss) and you may be entitled to additional checks in the early stages which may help to reassure you. Good Luck :)

Thank you, this is really reassuring to hear. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss as well. I'm really hoping and praying everything works out.

I'm going to call my GP on Monday and emphasise how scared I am and ask for as much support as I can possibly get to make sure that I don't feel alone like I did last time. I really REALLY hope everything will be okay!
