HELP…. Could this be chemical …. Again!!!

So I have taken a test yesterday at 12DPO and then again today at 13DPO … line isn’t much darker and should a line be darker at this stage ? Had a missed miscarriage and 2 chemicals so I am beyond anxious…! What did everyone else’s tests look like at 13DPO????

Hey @Meg310532 HCG only doubles every 48-72 hours so I would suggest waiting a few days to test agaib. I hope this turns out as a sticky bean for you - for what it is worth my chemical on 13DPO looked much lighter than yours.

Hello @Meg310532 sorry to hear of your losses. I understand the anxiety, I've been there myself.

HCG should double every 48 hours or so, so comparing tests 24 hours apart doesn't usually show much different. I've attached pictures of my 12DPO and 13DPO tests (different brand, so won't look exactly the same) so you can see there's no visible progression between the two.

As hard as it is, at this moment in time you're pregnant, and I think both your tests look good.

They're a different brand, so the line is thicker, but my FRER at 12DPO looked very similar to yours. I'll find a picture.

@KittyFantastica im surprised the frer one is lighter as I thought they were the most sensitive ones out there so would be the darkest ?? That’s reassuring to see yours is similar :))) x x x

They're sensitive because they can pick up lower levels of hCG than many tests but the colour of the line doesn't really mean much at this early stage. When hCG levels are so low minor things like being slightly better hydrated etc can make a difference, and as someone else said doubling times are also 2 days so don't necessarily expect to see any difference between tests with less than that amount of time between them.

I know it's so difficult when you've been through losses and you're looking everywhere for reassurance, but try to take a step back and not fall down the rabbit hole. FWIW my FRERs looked like yours at 12/13DPO and that pregnancy is now a stroppy toddler.

@blackberryhill thank you so much for your kind reply ! That has definitely reassured me ! I definitely think I’m just going to take a step back and just relax a bit !! I need to just take it that I am pregnant today and no amount of testing will change my outcome ! Xxxx

@blackberryhill @KittyFantastica @MakeMeJuno I did the digital First response and it said no !! But then when I opened it there was two lines ? And Aparently first response digital aren’t like clear blue ones and they only have 1 line if you open it up if negative! This is such a head F !!!!!
