Confusing digital OPK results

Hey guys, need a little help with my results if anyone can kindly shed some light or help me out here.

Basically,

Strip OPKs have all been negative except today (today is CD22). I have been testing with them daily since CD14.

CB ADVANCED digital OPK gave me two days of flashing smileys on CD15 & 16 and static smiley on CD 17. I've been testing daily with this since CD7.

After two days passed and the static smiley disappeared I continued testing from CD19 and it was a circle until today where I got a static smiley again. I checked with the strip OPK and it was positive today for the first time this cycle.
Also, I was testing with the same CB digital reader last month so this month isn't my first set of data.

I'm just a little confused about whether I've ovulated or about to ovulate. Is the digital reader inaccurate because it doesn't have enough data? That's the only thing I can think of. Except that the strip OPKs have a lower threshold to be positive so surely if the digital one shows ovulation the strip OPKs should do too?

Commenting so hopefully someone more knowledgeable can help you!
I'd be inclined to trust the strips, because I like to be able to see that the line is as dark as the control line so I know for sure.

For my first few cycles TTC I am pretty sure the clearblue digital gave me the static smiley far too early...a good 5 days before any EWCM. I switched to the strips and they were positive a couple of days after EWCM started, which makes me trust the strips more!

Thanks guys. I guess regardless of any explanation I get I just gotta DTD and see how it goes. Think I'm gonna use the strips daily in future to be on the safe side.
