Help! Unsure whether to test or wait a few days?

Hi.

I had a pregnancy loss in November, a normal period in December and ovulated on 1st January according to my Premom strips. Since my pregnancy/loss my last cycle was 40 days the last time but prior to that I was very regular and AF would arrive between 27 and 29 days. My current cycle I am on CD28.

My issue is this: Flo says I'm due on in 3 days and should wait to test until 18th January but Premom says I'm 1 day late. Do I test now?

Current symptoms are creamy white discharge, had a couple of cramps a few days go and the odd wave of nausea but this could easily be PMS. Oh and hot feet! Very odd. I also had a really weird dream last night that I forgot my husband's birthday? Which is really weird because his birthday isn't until August.

Just wait, you either are or aren't so testing is not changing the outcome but too early you might catch a non viable conception which is unnecessarily upsetting. Wait until it becomes established. 3-4 days after you are due

Thank you for your advice! I'm happy to wait if that's the best thing, I already told myself that this month I would not test early so I don't catch any chemicals etc and avoid any unnecessary heartbreak.

Wait if you can but I’m finding Premom far more accurate than Flo.

If you know for certain when you ovulated then you'll be fairly certain of when you can test. Most home pregnancy tests recommend 14 DPO at least to test. So it's less about the length of your cycle and whether or not you're late if you definitely know when you ovulated😊 If you have it in you to wait slightly longer then there's nothing wrong with that, like you and others said less chance of catching a chemical.

@remaininghopeful23 and @FenellaFurchester thank you both so much!!! I'm over the moon!

Flo says I'm due on in 2 days so I'm just being very aware that it could be a chemical, not told husband yet just in case so it doesn't get his hopes up. I'll do a digital in 2 days to make sure and then go from there! I'm so excited, I'm really hoping everything goes okay!
