Ovulation 3 days after peak?

I have just started testing BBT this month and OPKs a couple of months ago.

I got my first temp spike today but it's 4 days after a very clear peak on my OKP. Premom app is still saying ovulation date was the day after the peak, but is it more likely to be the day before the temp spike?

As it's my first month of temping I'm not sure what to expect!

I could never get the Premom app to look even remotely accurate for BBT. It also took a try to realise that I needed to wear my Apple Watch on the inside of my wrist instead of the outside, and that settled my temps really well (if you wear a wearable, different with a manual thermometer, obvs). Have you friend Fertility Friend? The chart is much easier to read and analyses what's happening for you.

With my son's pregnancy, even FF put ovulation 3 days after peak as it took 3 days for my temp to rise, but the peak was confirmed three different ways on the same date. Sometimes it really can take a few days for your temp to rise :).
