9dpo is this positive?

I am roughly 9dpo today (didn’t test ovulation this month). I took an easy @ home this morning and I’m a bit sceptical if this is a positive? The line isn’t red the whole way through and the dye looks flooded?

I’m trying not to get my hopes up because easy @ home have bad reviews mentioning false positives.

what do you think?

Hi @ak040899 did you collect urine in a cup or put it under direct stream? It does look a bit flooded.

These do best when dipped and laid flat. I tend to do them a couple at a time in case there's any dye bleed like this. It looks like it could be positive, but only a second one will confirm. Good luck!

The test looks flooded. I wouldn't trust lines that early on and wait until 13-14dpo. Seen another thread there was a weak line at 8dpo and now at 14dpo nothing so it's worth waiting. Good luck.

Hey! Thank you :) I dipped it in a cup and it lay on a flat dry surface.

I took these pictures about 10-15 minutes after I took the test.

Have you used these ones before?

Those look positive to me! Retest tomorrow morning with FMU and read within 5 minutes. Even when I've taken tests when I know Im very clearly pregnant, sometimes the test looks flooded.

That's amazing! Really not trying to get my hopes up but will test again in the morning and post an update xx

Hi @ak040899 Yes, I've used them many times and always found them reliable. This was my one from this morning (I had my first positive at 9DPO three days ago).

I did another test this morning and there was no second line, not even a faint one 🥺

I think yesterdays was a faulty test xx

Aww @ak040899 that's such a shame, I'm sorry.

I recommend doing a couple of these at a time as two results are more reliable than one in the case that one of them floods or looks grey. It did look very dark for 9DPO, but you never know. If I use cheapies, I usually use either two of the same brand, or two different brands like an easy@home and a Wondfo or something. I've never had an evap myself, but see them in these threads all the time. They're heartbreaking.
