Hi everyone abit of a complicated one

me and my partner have been ttcc over 3 years now and we have been referred to see a fertility nurse we both have had lots of tests ect.

my cycles are quite irregular from 27 -36 days recently they have been regular till this month .
November i had a scan and was told i had a “follicle ready to pop so i need to have intercourse over next few days which me and my partner did ,I was told everything looks healthy and normal .
After that I had to have a blood test to confirm ovulation 2 weeks after my scan .
skip forward around 12 days after my scan so on day 27 of my cycle I had spotting one day then spotting few days after and that was it .
I obviously done a test on cycle day 40 which came up with a bfn.
i emailed my nurse and she said that my bloods never confirmed ovulation and that the lady who done my scan is now wondering if it was a cysts she seen( even though I was told everything looks normal) I was told to wait till my period starts and arrange to go for scans .
I am now on cycle day 44 ,does anyone think it’s worth doing a test now or if I was I would have gotten the positive way before and dose the ovulation bloods test make sense to anyone couldn’t I just of ovulated later or earlier?
thanks for reading x

If you have irregular cycles then it could be worth another test

I'm 29 weeks pregnant. My cycles were all over the place so I didn't test until cd56 and got a BFP (don't know how much earlier I would have got a positive).
I now know from dating scans etc that I would have been around 5 weeks pregnant when i got the BFP, not the 8 weeks that LMP would have put me at, because I ovulated very late.
