TTC after mirena

Hi everyone I had the mirena removed 10th December. I had a ‘period’ on 13th for 3/4 days, making today CD28. I never tracked ovulation with strips but have done plenty around when I think I may have ovulated (if I did). Potentially 6/7dpo.
Just wondering really how long it took for cycles to be normal? Or if anyone has had any luck conceiving fast?
it’s annoying me I don’t know when to expect my period. I was usually a 35 day cycle person before and I think that’s how it’s looking to be again maybe.

I’ve found the literature for this misleading! A lot says cycles returning straight away, according to this you’d expect ovulation post withdrawal bleeds.

I had cycles of spotting towards the end of my mirena, before removal. I had 3 bleeds with 4-5wks. But the 1st and 3rd were just before removal and 28 days later. The 2nd being 3 days post removal.
I tracked because I wanted to know where I was in my cycle because of all the small bleeds and I ovulated at a time you’d expect based on spotting with my coil and not based on withdrawal bleeds.

its only our first month TTC, so I can’t comment on if my cycle will stay fairly regular or not, but I’d advise keeping an eye on symptoms and confusing on the numbers post withdrawal bleed because I’d have completely missed ovulation that way

I had mine removed in the summer, had a withdrawal bleed a few days later (similar to you) , a mega migraine about two weeks in and started tracking my cycles. I'm fairly sure I ovulated about three weeks later with a normal period another 2 weeks after that. Everything from then was very stable. I'm mid-30s if that helps too! I imagine it's different from everyone but mine seemed to stabilise pretty quickly.

Thanks for your replies glad to hear nothing too long. I had a bad experience coming off the pill and it took almost a year for any type of regular cycle which is why I’m not holding on to any hope for this month but just don’t know when to expect my next bleed. Could be tomorrow or could be next week 🙈

I got mine out at the beginning if march and had withdrawal bleed a few days later... currently on cd38 and no sign of AF! Going crazy!!!

Hi I ended up with a 31 day cycle after my withdrawal bleed in December and found out I was pregnant in Feb. Currently 15 weeks 🥰
