How realistic is IVF with these stats?

I will try to keep this short, I have just heard back I got an AMH of 9, my husband has sperm issues, I am 37 and he is 45. I also have a health issue that would make IVF risky but not impossible. The consultant was not very clear so I am asking mumsnet whether based on the AMH you think IVF is even worth doing?

Your AMH is fine for IVF, but honestly you are probably better going back to the consultant if you still have questions or feel they weren't clear.

Fertility treatment is complex and needs to be individualised for each person, especially as you have a health condition. You will get generic advice on here.

@turkeypasty yes it's worth trying with that AMH. I've seen people generally get around 6-10 eggs with that level

Age is more important than AMH by a drastic degree. So if you can't get pregnant naturally go for it now not in a few years. Depending on the specific health risks you mentioned of course.
