6 days post ovulation - faint line?

So according to opk I peeked on 2 or 3 January. I tested today (I know way too early) and this is what I got. Are my eyes playing tricks on me. I'm only 6 dpo.

It looks very thin so potentially an evap. The earliest you are likely to implant is 6DPO so unless you ovulated earlier than you think, it's very unlikely to be a BFP. Plus, if you peaked 2/3rd Jan, you usually ovulate 24 hours after which would put you at 4 of 5DPO today, not 6. What cycle day are you on? Is it possible you ovulated earlier than 3/4th Jan?

Im Pretty certain, my ovulation tests peeked on the late being of 2nd and early morning on 3rd. The photos of the test was taken 3 minutes after I did it so I don't think it's an evap line. I totally get that it seems way too soon though.

I would say it's a positive especially as it was read within the time frame and I have taken LOADS of these tests and have never had a second line unless it was a true positive.x

I think it's a positive, I read another woman on here who also had one similar to this 6dpo and confirmed with a frer, it looks like it has colour and is thick so I have my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼 can you get your hands on a frer to confirm?

I'll try and get one tomorrow. I'm very surprised as it's so early, I had a lot of cramping yesterday and my boobs felt weird today so I tested not expecting anything.

I did another one today 7dpo and there was no line at all. I've started very light bleeding too. I have no idea what to think now.

It's such a rollercoaster of emotions the TWW isn't it. There's a few possibilities. Yesterday's line could've been an evap or an indent or a faulty test, although it did look like an early positive. Today maybe hasn't shown up because you're more hydrated today that you were yesterday. It could be a chemical pregnancy that would detect a small amount of hcg but then would being depleting as the pregnancy didn't last. I'm sorry you're having to wait it out. You could call your GP or EPU and see if they'd be happy doing an hcg blood test to give you a more definitive answer, since you've had a possible positive and are now spotting. Some places seem happy to do this and other don't. Hoping for the very best outcome for you OP 🙏
