Mr 18th July is spot on for your current pregnancy dating.

But sperm can live in the body for 5 days .. it could literally be either.

With almost a month between both dates? How so?

But they were over a month apart not just a few days

Strawber · 06/01/2025 13:07

@ToastyCat in order for it to me MrJune then their super sperm would have had to survive 1 month so it's definitely Mr July

ToastyCat · 06/01/2025 13:08

Apologies - I read them both being a few days apart.

I blame sleep deprivation - it'll be Mr July then.

Groundhogday2025 · 06/01/2025 13:08

Provided you meant JUNE and July then definitely Mr July.

SCK2024 · 06/01/2025 13:09

I think @ToastyCat quick read as days, I did just the same then until I read someone else’s post and went to re-read. 😌

DappledThings · 06/01/2025 13:15

As everyone else has said, has to be July. 14th June would put you more like 31 weeks now. If you have anything approaching a regular and regular length cycle you probably had a period starting around 4th July. What date for LMP did you give the hospital when you were booking in?

Kashmiri24 · 06/01/2025 13:27

The July guy is the daddy.

sel2223 · 06/01/2025 14:57

For approx conception date, you count back 38 weeks from your official due date given at your dating scan.

It's not exact so if there were two possibilities very close together it wouldn't be enough to say for sure but, in your case, the potentials are a month apart. I think you can very confidently say this is July guys baby.

unknownghost · 06/01/2025 21:44

Thanks so much! I didnt tell anyone my LMP. I just told then what it had said on my clear blue test, (2-3 weeks) on 5th August. Ita my 1st pregnancy, so I dont understand dating! You have reassured me. Thankyou xx

And nobody questioned that? There's no way the midwife booking you in just accepted that and didn't press you for your LMP. Or did you say you didn't know?

unknownghost · 06/01/2025 22:17

Nobody pressed me at all? I also said I didn't know my LMP. I went for a private 6 week early reasurance ultra sound and they confirmed due date was 10th April and then I went for a NHS 12 week dating scan and they said I was due 11th April.

Yes, those are the two scenarios I suggested. Either that you were pressed for it or you said you didn't know. Telling them you don't know own is different to not being asked.

I didnt say I wasnt asked for it. I said I wasnt pressed for it? Sorry, are you trying to prove something? Im confused with the tone.

No, it doesn't matter.

You first said you didn't tell them your LMP, which implies you knew it but deliberately withheld it. I was surprised you weren't pressed for it given it is pretty basic information. Now you're saying you didn't not tell them, you told them you didn't know it. Which makes more sense.

Not trying to prove anything, just explaining where the confusion arose.
