infertility - what's next?

We are about 19 months in ttc no2. We've done 6 medicated cycles without success. The last 2 we've also added supplementary progesterone to try and fix a short luteal phase.

I guess my question is what's next? The Dr said we could give the progesterone cycles a few more tries, do a laparoscopy or jump straight to IVF.

There are no issues on DH's side. On my end, only the poor ovulation that we are treating. Possible endo, but we don't know.

I'm just wonder how to decide. Obviously I don't want to do IVF unless it's really necessary, but I can't help feeling that we're slowing going nowhere, and it's really starting to get me down.

Any experiences would be helpful.

Thanks.

We are in a similar situation. Secondary infertility for 3.5 years. All tests fine and going to try Letrozole . They keep saying it’s unexplained but there must be something !

@Unexplainedbutnormal it's frustrating isn't it?! I which I knew what the "right" thing was to do, but I understand there is not real "right" option. It's all a trade-off between how long you are willing to keep trying, how much you are able to spend, how much you are willing to put your body through and a massive amount of luck it seems!

I hope the letrozole works for you and you find it relatively easy to take.
