Help with reading OPKs and general

So, I’ve got a 4 year old and I’ve been on the fence about having a second.

yesterday CD 15 we done the deed unprotected… and I don’t know how I feel. I sort of regret it. And think I only want to be a mummy to my sole daughter. Anyways I had a low OPK so was thinking ok. My chances are getting lower if it stays like this. Checked this morning and it was faint.

this is my OPK taken a second ago. On the app it reads 0.94 but it looks darker and positive in my eyes.

if I’m having regrets is this my last chance to get the morning after pill? As it will be imminent?

I’d say that’s peak LH or just about to peak. I’d say you’re about to ovulate in the next 24-48 hrs.
if you want to get the morning after pill get it today/asap.

Ive just popped the pharmacy to get it in so we can discuss and go from there.

Seems as though you are about to ovulate then so could be a chance of getting pregnant.

I get it’s a big decision especially if you’re unsure about having another. I have to say I do understand sort of in that I have a 3 year old girl who I’m so content with and enjoy our life but made the decision to try for a sibling more so for later on in life as well for her & I feel like I’m ready to do it all over again but maybe wasn’t before.
But I know plenty of friends and family members with one child. It’s whatever best suits your situation and what you want to do.

Maybe you need some more time to have a good think about having another or not.

I’m the exact same. I’ve got a little girl who I’ve struck gold with. I do think about the sibling aspect, but then I wonder whether I’m almost forcing the issue. They might not add much value to each others life in terms of they could not be close and text occasional. No more than a distant friend etc. Obv the opposite could also apply.

so it’s my decision.

the pharmacist also told me I have 3 days to take it. But I queried about the ovulation stuff and she was like it doesn’t matter. Just do it within three days.

so I might need to rely on mumsnet. I read from the internet… the consensus is you ovulate 24-26 after it turns high and 8-12 hours after a peak.

I have the symptoms now, cramps and sore boobs etc. so does that mean it’s already started or it’s about too.

this is currently me now. I have ovulation bloating I would say all day. So just wondering. I’ve got two morning after pills to take. We done the deed cd15 at 11pm so the sperm is probably still alive and active. Just wondering if it will meet the egg, and will it not happen.

I think I’m just gunna have to take the morning after pill. I’m waiting to speak to my mum

You are completely right with regards to sibling in the future and you can’t see what will happen in the future with there relationship. I suppose for myself as much as I’m content with life now the thought of never having another baby does upset me so I do think deep down I want another it’s just much more scary cause you know what’s to come! 😂

So I’m guessing with the pill as long as you take it within 3 days even if the egg meets the sperm im guessing it’ll stop it fertilising? I know there’s still the possibility of the morning after pill not working as well.

For myself I find I ovulate pretty quickly after my peak, just from my moods the dip in BBT etc everyone is different.

I decided to take it due to me always being on the fence and my partner too. I took it this morning at 5am which would be CD17 5am. I actually hope that my follicle has ruptured pretty promptly and it won’t prevent this! This was my reading.. I still had a 1.14 this morning.

so I think if I’ve took it. Probably in time! Little sad 😢

but I suppose it’s confirmed what I want…..
