Anyone else here suffering from recurrent miscarriages?

I've had two within the past 4 months. I have two healthy boys and trying for our last baby to complete our family but I seem to be struggling to get past 6 weeks at the moment. It's so difficult and upsetting.

Hoping there's others here so I'm not so alone

Hi,

Im so sorry to hear, you must be having such a tough time!

I have got a 5 year old daughter, but have bern trying for a 2nd baby. So far i have had 3 miscarriages and 1 ectopic. (So 4 losses in total in last couple years).

I have been seen by the recurrent loss clinic through NHS and tested positive for the blood clotting disorder, so the next time i get pregnant i need to do daily injections so its reassuring that theres a plan in place.

Have you spoken to your local maternity clinic about getting an appointment with recurrent loss clinic?

Theres not much more help i can get due to having a healthy pregnancy previously, but if you dont have a child already theres lots more help you can get x

@Styles96 Hi Styles, thank you for your reply. That's reassuring that there's something they can do to help you. My GP will refer me if I have one more miscarriage, it's just heartbreaking every time so upsetting to know I need to go through it again before I get any help.

I think I've taken for granted how quickly I fell pregnant with both my boys and how easy the pregnancies were. This time is certainly not easy

Sorry just read that you have 2 healthy boys - so you will be similar to me.

Its so hard especially when you know your body can do it!

You can also ask about progesterone and if you get pregnant again they can book you in for an early scan around 7 weeks xx

I have a 4 year old and started TTC number 2 in April last year. I have had 2 miscarriages since. The first in August and the second in December.
I'm over 35 so I've been referred to the reoccurring miscarriage team after 2 losses and have an appointment at the end of march. I got early scans in my last pregnancy due to my first loss. I have passed the pregnancies at around 10 weeks but they were lost earlier than that. I know from the early scans that the second loss never got passed 6 weeks and I'd say this was probably true of the first loss too.

I have a hard time in pregnancy with hyperemesis. I had most of July and November off with it which is tough. I found the second harder than the first with the short respite in symptoms. I'm torn between wanting to be pregnant again but not wanting to be pregnant because of the symptoms.
