Period late but negative tests

Hello everyone

So I'm 10 DPO, AF was due yesterday. Not a sign, I even feel like some of my PMS symptoms are going away. Tested negative two mornings in a row, anyone had this and gone on to have a positive test? Also, could my HCG stop my period but not show up on an ultra early test yet?

Are you sure about your cycles OP? If you’re currently 10DPO and think you’re 1 day late that would make your period date 9DPO, typically your period is due at around 14DPO. Getting your period less than 10 days after ovulation would mean you have a short luteal phase.

@Mrsttcno1 yep, my luteal phase is 9 days, low progesterone.

Ah I see, it is difficult because even if pregnant your HCG levels might not be high enough to get a positive by 9DPO

@Mrsttcno1 that's what I'm thinking. However, I wonder how my HCG stopped my period but won't show up on a test yet. I also need to start taking cyclogest if I am pregnant so I'm panicking a bit about that 😥
