Late period... help!

Hey Everyone.

I usually have a 10 day luteal phase. I'm currently 12dpo with no sign of AF. We have been TTC for 2 years.

I flew to Barbados a day before my period was due, do you think this could have delayed things with the jet lag etc?
I'm on a cruise & now in Bonaire, so getting a test may be difficult!

I have 0 symptoms of either AF or pregnancy, other than being a bit spotty on my chest. Totally dry down there.

How long would you leave it until you test, another couple of days?

Did anyone else get their BFP with no symptoms?

I'm very confused!
Help!

I would say the majority of people get BFP with no symptoms, I myself had none. The only 2 options are your period is late or your pregnant. A test is only way to know

@Adamsapple89 thanks. I will try to find a test from one of the places we are stopping.
Typical this would happen now!
Fingers crossed.

No symptoms when I got my positive, I just knew. I did a test at 12dpo it was negative. I did another at 15dpo and it was positive

DentHyg · 30/12/2024 23:37

Thanks @anonny55.
That's why I'm wondering whether to leave it for a few days.
I don't have any feelings either way but I think I'm just trying not to get my hopes up cos we have been trying for so long!

I never had early symptoms in either of my pregnancies. I was simply late and tested and it was roughly at 7-8 weeks I started to get nausea, etc.

If you think you’re late, then all you can do is test. Good luck!

DentHyg · 31/12/2024 01:58

Thank you @YellowDiamondsInTheSky.
I will try & get a test from somewhere!

I got my BFP whilst on holiday after TTC for years!
I was about a week to 10 days late with no symptoms then suddenly couldn't face coffee and threw up at breakfast - that's what finally prompted me to test.
I had long and irregular cycles which is why I didn't test earlier.

Good luck.

Thank you everyone.
I'm gonna get another test when I can - it was a relatively faint line today, so would like to double check in a few days.
Virgin Pina Coladas for me from now on!

All the best for 2025 x

I don't think that looks too faint for 14 dpo!

This was mine every 2 days starting at 15dpo
