Could be pregnant - anxious wait!

Hi all,

Me and my fiancée are not trying to conceive, however have recently bought a house and are due to get married, so agreed that we are not trying but that if it happened we would be happy.

We had unprotected sex on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I don't track my ovulation using any formal methods but according to the Flo app those were my most fertile days with ovulation being on Sunday (although I know this can be wrong).

May be TMI but my partner pulled out each time, but was potentially a bit late at times and some semen was definitely close to my vagina, and some potentially did go inside.

Anyway, I suppose I just need to offload as I now have the anxious wait! Although not trying I would be happy, it would just be sooner than we planned, and we would have to push our wedding back! I know it is unlikely that I am pregnant, but I am finding myself secretly hoping that I am (although logistically it probably isn't the best time).

When is best to start testing, after a missed period?

When your period is late is the most likely time to get an accurate test result. Do you really want the hassle of pushing your wedding back though? Could delay TTC a few months so you'd not be due at the exact same time, but maybe a few months later? Seems like a lot of hassle if you're not 100% in it to conceive.

Thank you.

Our wedding isn't until December, so we realistically would be looking at not TTC until this time next year. Tbh we were just a bit irresponsible on this occasion so are in the mindset of whatever will be will be. However I don't fancy a wedding 3 months after giving birth if it were to happen!

Chances are if it hasn't happened this time we will be more careful now until this time next year.

Me and my partner used withdrawal for 7 years (with many times he failed to do), but I didn't fall pregnant until we started trying. There's always a possibility, but best to wait the 2 weeks and do a test just to be certain

Well it’s possible but highly unlikely so try not to stress.
