I am on the depo and had unprotected sex 5 weeks ago. I’ve felt unwell recently and had a pregnancy test so just thought I’d see. The control line didn’t come up but a negative line did after a few minutes, so I chucked it in the bin thinking it hadn’t worked because of the control line not showing.
when I went to bed 10 hours later I looked in the bin and the control line had appeared and there was a faint positive line. I don’t know if this is accurate after being in the bin so long?
So I did another test today using the clear blue weeks indicator. It said not pregnant. So now I’m confused! I don’t have periods on the depo so can’t work anything out from that but 5 weeks post sex would be long enough to show positive on the clearblue if I was right?

The majority get a positive 2 weeks after, the one in the bin can’t be read after 10 hours and if the clear blue said not pregnant I’d trust that at this late stage

I would recommend (if you haven't already) going shop, buying some cheap strip tests and testing with first morning urine. Clear blue weeks test is very insensitive; and said I was not pregnant even tho I am.

Also, tests need to be disregarded after 5 minutes as the chance of an evap line is really high. I'd do a few days of testing with the cheap strips, and if no line, conclude you're not pregnant. If a line does appear, it can take awhile to show on a digital as they're not as sensitive
