I've recently started tracking my ovulation and had a surge yesterday on the tail end of my period, the day after I'd stopped spotting. Is this normal? I don't really know what to expect here, information on Google seems to be sporadic and my surge seems very high? I'm 34.

I think the app has read your test wrong as that’s not a peak so I wouldn’t worry and keep testing!

The month I conceived DS, which was also the first month of tracking, I got a full peak (solid smiley face on clear blue) on day 7! I was worried thinking I was ovulating very early but then I kept tracking using the clearblue fertility monitor and got another peak on day 15. The second one was the true ovulation as that's when we conceived. :)
Your peak also only looks like a surge rather than a true positive OPK so maybe you are someone who just has a little surge before your big one. I can't say for sure your situation is the same but it could be :) Good luck!

Thank you! I'm going to keep testing every day until I get some real results because I have no way which way is up since my loss. Hoping for good news soon!

Thank you, this is reassuring! I'll keep testing and see what happens in the next couple of weeks.

Out of interest, have you had any other surges? I had a MC in Sept and since then I’ve been testing also and seen to only get a light rise in LH on the tail end of my period and then nothing but blanks or very light lines until my next period arrives. My period since the MC have been super light and short and my cycles have been really short. So I just can’t work out what’s going on 😔
