Mixed bfn and bfp

I got my first faint bfp on 14/12/24 and since then I have had mixed bfn and bfp. Light bleeding started on 17/12/24 in the evening which has now stopped and was lighter than a period. My strongest bfp was yesterday night and attached but bfn this afternoon. Lower back pain since. Anyone experienced this? Using mom med pregnancy sticks. I tried clear blue on 15/12/24 which was bfn. Today I’m roughly 14-16dpo

I'm really sorry, this sounds like a chemical pregnancy. When I miscarried this early it was just like a normal light period.

I suspect the same and why I wanted to see the doctor as I’m worried incase it’s ectopic but no chance before Xmas atm. Thank you

They wouldn't send you for a scan anyway unless there are other symptoms, so don't worry about not seeing a GP. I had period-type pains with mine, and took a week after I finished bleeding to test negative again.

I’ve ordered different type of test which comes next week so I will get confirmation of the bfn and move forward to the next cycle. Hopefully it doesn’t disrupt my next cycle

My next cycle was a bit longer than usual but only by about five days. Best of luck x

Also just to add, after my two chemical pregnancies I fell pregnant the next cycle and that resulted in my baby. It didn't impact much at all, just slightly longer cycles than usual. Sending baby dust xx

I can't remember and I know I just stopped testing after a certain point, I think I stopped testing when I fully bled both times xx
