Im very confused after testing pregnant on day 9. I have very short cycles, and they were tracking my previous cycle. On day one of this cycle they tested my progesterone and it was 2 nmol, I also had a negative test and started my period that evening. Because my cycles can be as short as 17 days, we dtd on day 3/4 and 6. On day 8 I had a faint positive and that has continued for the past few days.
I am so confused though. I can’t see that it could be a pregnancy from the previous cycle given that my progesterone was so low and I tested negative the day of my period. But how could hcg be picked up only 5 days after possible fertilization? I’ve taken a digital test today saying 1-2 weeks pregnant.
I have a long history of 7 miscarriages, 3 this year. I have two children 3 & 6. I’m having a scan on the 27th, but going slightly mad trying to understand how this could be possible!
