Hey,
For background - I’ve previously had 2 back to back miscarriages. Last one in June.
I thought I was getting my period on Tuesday but since then I’ve only had brown bleeding with some clots etc.

for some reason I took a test this morning and it’s positive.

do you think the bleeding means that I’m already losing this baby? The EPU won’t see me until 6 weeks, when they will scan me and give me progesterone but until then it’s just waiting.

I have some period type cramps. Going out of my mind just waiting to see if this one sticks.
any advice/words of wisdom would be very much appreciated

So sorry for your losses. I had a MMC in April and waited one cycle before trying again. Got a faint positive in June a few days before period was due. The night before period should have started, I began spotting. Mostly brown too. I was convinced I was having a chemical but the spotting stayed light (for 8 days; still brown, a little pink at times) and my test lines got darker each day. EPU scanned me at 6 weeks and it showed everything in the right place and a little heartbeat too. I'm now 30 weeks. I completely understand how triggering any bleeding or spotting can be, especially when you've experienced pregnancy loss before. And of course not all spotting / bleeding will have a good outcome. But there can be lots of reasons for spotting and it can be a normal part of early pregnancy for lots of women. I really hope this one sticks for you 🙏♥️

PS I also had period like cramps and a very heavy feeling low in my uterus.

Thank you for your replies

I carried on bleeding and tests are now negative so I’m guessing a chemical
