Flu impacting conception

First time on here.
We've been trying for three months and are sure we hit ovulation this month and the days leading up. Unfortunately at 6 DPO I came down with a terrible flu. Was being sick and had fevers and chills. I suspect this will impact my ability to get pregnant this month and wondered if anyone experienced anything similar but had a good news story?

I have read some posts on here where despite having a cold or flu, mums got their BFP. However I appreciate different factors could affect this ie timing of flu before or after ovulation. After coming across so many different stories on here, I realise anything is possible :)

I guess the only way to know for sure is wait and test.. Gd luck x
