Normally 26 day cycle - now day 27 - too early to test???

Do you have to wait til day 28 whatever your normal cycle length?

With dd I tested when I realised I'd not had a period for two months so no idea about early testing.

For the last six months has been 26 days, was due yesterday but nothing.

you can test on day period is due with most tests these days..some tests such as First response an be used four days before you are due your period!

Had it in my head it needed to be day 28 for some reason.

i had a 26 day cycle for 5 years(its just changed to 30 day for some reason)and i tested + on day 25/26 wih dc3,4 and 5.
