I usually have 26-28 day cycles but I usually spot several days before my period. Recently I have been getting ewcm around day 10 but this could be later on in my cycle than I think if I count the spotting days. Sometime I'll start to spot on the 24/25 day and then start properly on the 27th, 28th or 29th day.
This month I noticed what looked like the start of fertile cm on only cycle day 7, then more on cycle day 8, then hardly anything at all on day 9 and then I had quite a bit of what I assume to be non fertile cm on day 10. Then the following day I had ewcm in the evening followed by more of what I assume to be non fertile cm. And then absolutely nothing since. If I count day of first heavy flow as day 1, I'm only 11/12 cycle days in. If I've ovulated at all I presume I've already done so.
In the recent months, I've started spotting exactly 14 days after the first sign of heavy ewcm and that's made me think I ovulate on that same day. I don't get many days of ewcm. It's usually 1 or 2, maybe 3 at a push. But only really one day where it's really noticeable.
If that's the case, I would have ovulated between the 8 day and the 10th day of my cycle this time round. I know this is early and I'm worried it's a huge sign of peri as I'm 40 next March. I last had sex on cycle day 5/6 and gutted as I think that's too early for me to be in with a chance. I'd just finished my period as well.
I had a suspected chemical in September and my discharge followed the same sort of pattern then. That's the only time I had ewcm after suspected ovulation. I don't temp and I didn't use LH strips that month. This month I did an LH strip on day 10 when I suspected ovulation was over and as I thought it was negative and they've been negative ever since.
Does anyone have a similar cycle to mine and if you do, do you know when ovulation is most likely to happen? I know your period is most likely to come 14 days later, which would tie in nicely with my heavy ewcm day.
I'm clinging to hope I might have ovulated early this cycle and therefore may be in with a very slim chance!
