My husband and I have been trying for a year. Both late 30s early 40s and thought it was just our ages slowing things as I have 3 children from previous relationship. We are going through testing with a clinic and immediately it was flagged that his testosterone is low
From what I've read he cannot take TRT as testosterone therapy actually stops sperm production but with low T you don't produce.
So from what I see the treatment for men experiencing this is either clomid or HSG. I think given his age HSG would probably be the better option as I have read clomid is for younger men. Can the nhs GP prescribe this? As our clinic can't.
Or do we need to go to another consultant?
Anyone any success stories of conceiving with low T?
Thanks
