This is the most confusing cycle ever. I am very blessed to have 3 children. A 7 year old and identical twins who are 2. We are giving it one last try to see if we are blessed to add one last child to our family. I usually have long cycles, ovulating around cd21, I was very poorly last month and was on antibiotics and was taking mucus cough syrup. I wasn’t keeping up with my supplements. I thought I got some cramping around cd21 but did not get a positive OPK, again though because I was poorly I was not religiously taking tests as I normally would. I then started bleeding at cd28 which is crazy because I usually have a full 14 day luteal phase. This was a very small 3 day bleed, I probably would not class it as a period but I did for charting purposes. I am now cd7 and woke up this morning to ovulation pains, took a clear blue advanced test and lo and behold a solid smiley appeared. I have no idea what is going on? Is it possible that I did not ovulate last month and the 3 day light bleeding was a breakthrough bleed? Am I actually ovulating later on cd 35? Has anybody experienced this before, I’m at a loss! My body has never been this confusing before.
