Took ibuprofen for ovulation pain have I wrecked my chances?

Had really painful ovulation pains tonight. Have a 1 year old to look after so couldn’t rest. Took 2 ibuprofen. Then just read online it can stop you conceiving. So annoyed at myself have I wrecked my chances this month? 😩

You haven't wrecked your chances, you're odds of conceiving won't be affected by taking a dose of ibuprofen.

One dose of ibuprofen is fine, try not to panic, easily said I know, but you're sounding like you're in that horrible TTC place where tiny things get blown out of proportion ... I know it well ... good luck TTC

Thank you currently trying for my second. Had an early miscarriage last month so I’m definitely over thinking everything!

I'm currently 10 weeks (and have been scanned showing a heartbeat and a healthy baby!) and I definitely took at least 2 doses of ibuprofen around ovulating. Wouldn't have even occurred to me that this was a thing that could cause problems, if it was then we'd be told not to take it if TTC!
