Ovulation advice

Hi all,
we are TTC #3. #1 and #2 happened with no ovulation tracking in the second cycles but we are now cycle 4 after a MC. I appreciate that’s not long, but I am closer to 40 than I’d like and very keen for it to happen asap. I have been using ovulation sticks for the last 2 months and my Flo app, but just wondered…when you get the positive result, that indicates high LH. So is that the indication that you are ovulating or that you will ovulate in 24/48hrs? So when is the best time to DTD? Also, is it better to DTD every day or every other?
TIA

Once you get your peak on an ovulation test then it generally means you’ll ovulate 24-36 hours later. Obviously some people will ovulate slightly sooner or later so it’s not an exact science but it at least gives you a good indication that ovulation is happening.
I believe the general advice is to DTD every other day throughout your fertile period. That should cover you, but I know a lot of people TTC will DTD a few days in a row around ovulation as well, just to really make sure not to miss it!

Thanks @Row23 , appreciate the reply. Thats what I thought from what I’d read. Initially I thought the positive ovulation test meant I was already ovulating which is where I’d got confused. 🤞🏽 for this cycle!
