So i split up with my partner mid October got my period on 25th October slept with someone (that has the snip ) on 5th November but I'm like convinced like oh god what if it didn't work .. amean he's adamant that it worked and this guy really has no reason to lie to me about any of that stuff anyway I realised what a stupid cow I was being and realised I actually missed my partner we were chatting and one thing led to another with us on the 16th took a clear blue two days it said 2-3 weeks on it I know these arent always reliable but what are the chances of it being snipped guys ( believe me I know I sound crazy ) do we think guy number one or my partner thanks in advance x

Hey OP, I'm confused about when you took the clear blue? Did you mean 2 days ago?

Your LMP on 25th October would put you at 5+5, this is the date to work off until you get an official due date at the 12 week dating scan although it's not always accurate for a lot of women.

The clear blue tests are from ovulation, not the full gestation of pregnancy so whenever you took the test, it's saying you conceived approx 2-3 weeks ago (making you 4-5 weeks pregnant). Assuming that test was taken 2 days ago, then that's saying you conceived between 11th and 18th November.

It's not exact but it's a good indicator.

When you get your official due date, you can also count back 38 weeks from that to work out approx date too.

Since sperm can survive in the body for 5 ish days before ovulation, I don't think you can 100% rule out the other guy until you have a scan by it sounds very unlikely to be him.

It's slightly confusing but from my understanding if you had a period 25th October but slept with your ex 16th that's just over 3 weeks after your AF came but got 2-3 2 weeks after you slept with him? I feel like it would be the other mans if I'm honest but dates aren't always accurate on the clear blue. Also depends how long your cycles are and when you ovulate . When was your AF due?

If OP got a 2-3 week clear blue result and slept with her ex/ partner 2-3 weeks ago and the other guy 4 weeks ago, how is it more likely to be the other guys?

I'm not saying it is or isn't by the way, just confused by how you came up with that conclusion?

I was just going off if her AF was due a week ago because it had been 5 weeks plus since her last period when taking the 2-3 test a few days ago?
I know all women have different cycles and ovulate different so I'm not saying it can't be her exs I just wasn't sure what her dates were that's all
I've only ever got 1-2 both times for me 4 weeks after my af
