Day 21 Blood Tests - Can someone help me with a few questions?

Can Day 21 Blood Test Results tell if you are pregnant?
I am on Day 25 of cycle, AF due in 3-4 days. Results are in, the Receptionist at my GP says they are "normal". I have an appt. with my GP on Friday but just wondered, IF I were pg this month (miracle), would it show up?

hello, no it would not, as dy21 looks for progesterone. unless the doc requested beta HCG as well?

Would not solely rely on the receptionist - blood test results can be minsinterpreted.

The day 21 is done to measure progesterone; this test determines whether ovulation has occured or not in that particular month. BTW a result of 30 or over would indicate ovulation.

I would like to echo what Atilla says - don't just take their word for it, always get a print out of your results. often you can be told something is normal when it is borderline.
