Stopping the pill

Hi all,

my husband and I are trying for our first baby. I stopped taking the pill a month ago, but I’ve been pretty miserable since. I’ve had two cold sores, one after the other and am also getting mouth ulcers. I'm starting to worry I'll never be
coldsore free again. Has anybody had similar symptoms and tell me how long it lasted. I know our bodies are different, but am interested in other people's experiences.

I was actually hoping that I was pregnant, as have been experiencing very light spotting and thought it might be implantation bleeding but AF arrived today.

Try this https://www.hollandandbarrett.com/shop/product/l-lysine-1000mg-60-tablets-6100004656 for cold sores. You can't take it if you become pregnant though. But it should help now. Since I started taking these in the summer I haven't had any coldsores. If I feel like I might get one, I just take one pill and then it doesn't appear.

I finished the pill middle of October and whilst I didn’t suffer with cold sores I felt bloody awful for around 3/4 weeks! I was so not expecting to feel anything! hope they clear up for you soon!
