Waitrose bfn

Hi, I am 3 days late which is unheard of for me but have a BFN on a Waitrose test this morning. Does anyone have any bad experiences with them? I think it's unlikely it's wrong as I've been ttc for years but I have my first IVF consultation so I really need to know. Trust my body to do this now, I'm usually like clockwork!

Are you certain when you ovulated? What DPO do you reckon you are now? Our bodies do occasionally chuck a random cycle at us and stress does sometimes have an impact (I don't think it's coincidence that the cycle I ovulated on CD20 was a horrible horrible month!).

If the Waitrose test is their basic one, I don't think it's hugely sensitive (20-25miu) but you'd expect to see something if 3 days late = 15-18DPO, so I'd be inclined to trust the BFN. Sorry 😢

@curliegirlie thanks for your reply! It is possible I didn't ovulate as unfortunately I didn't track it this month. I'm usually pretty consistent but I know it can be normal to skip an ovulation every now and then.

Yes I agree it's really unlikely when I am 3 days late, I would've expected at least a little shadow on the test! Very frustrating ☹️
