Morning All, First time posting, been TTC for 6 months, and just woke up to my period 😢 that feeling is just getting more and more painful each month, Just feels a lonely place at the moment. What’s worse is that I’m 2 days late so I was feeling hopeful about this month.

Ahh so sorry. I know that feeling all too well. Keep trying! 2 years for me now and still haven’t given up…

Thank you! I know it only seems a short amount of time but I think the longer it goes the harder it hits!
Keep going lovely lady! Flowers

I’m guessing that you feel pretty awful every time a period happens.

I know I did when I was ttc a million years ago.

I don’t know what current advice is, but back when I was ttc, it was to seek advice after about a year (for both of you) from an expert to ensure there’s no issues in the health of either of you to prevent conception.

in the meantime, look after yourself as much as possible, look up any foods that would be conducive to you having a happy and healthy
pregnancy.

After quite a few tears of “trying”, I found out that I had an overy that was blocked, and the other wasn’t fully functioning… AND my then husband was told he had slow swimmers…
I had fertility treatment to hopefully help me conceive, and eventually…. it happened !

Best of luck, and do your best to enjoy ttc by enjoying the intimacy.

it’s hard not to make the intimacy all about the longed for child.

Hey… update us when you get your good news 🥰

@NotLegallyBlonde thank you so much for your kind message,
I am currently going through tests etc for hormones and other things related as my periods have become very irregular since December, had bloods done and now just waiting to discuss results with GP and any next steps that need to be done, so fingers crossed will get some answers in the next few weeks and then maybe TTC won’t be so difficult 🥰
