I am nearly 26 and I’ve always had health anxiety but always been weary about fertility. I had an AMH test which came back as 10.4. Officially it’s in the ‘normal’ range but the doctor said at it’s at the low end of the spectrum and he would expect it to be over 20.
i’m so worried cos I initially planned on having kids in my late twenties (28/29/30) but now I’m worried if I wait even a year my count is going to decrease even more
i have health anxiety anyway but imagine if I didn’t have health anxiety and never got it checked… equally it is private insurance so sometimes I’m a bit skeptical that they freak you out to do more tests. I’ve done another test just to double check (as recommended).
but also some women never got their AMh levels done and they could have had a low count and still got pregnant!
im just really worried! Has anyone conceived naturally with an AMH level as low? Should I try for a baby now? We aren’t in a dire financial situation but we equally don’t have loads of savings! But I’ve ALWAYS wanted babies
