How long before you can be sure that you are *not* pg?

I don't know when my last period was - January maybe, I took the MAP toward the end of February but no period in March or April. I did a pg test in March but it was inconclusive. I've always had a irregular cycle anyway... (didn't occur to me for ages about dd) but today I feel nauseous but that is probably my imagination. If I am pg, will I have damaged any baby by taking the MAP? I mean,I should have had a period, right?

in what way was it inconclusive? If you got pregnant in January/feb then this would make you at least 10 weeks pregnant so you should be getting symptoms now.

I would do another test if I were you. You may need to get checked out but try not to worry about having taken the MAP.

At this stage I personally would be booking in to see my GP. If the tests are still inconclusive he/she may send you for an early scan or possibly internal examination?

Don't worry about taking the MAP.
I took it and found out it did't work with my son and he's fine.

I think she is describing it as inconclusive because it is technically negative but she hasn't had a period since possibly early January. Pregnancy would be one "answer".

I have heard (but no idea if it is true) that it is possible for it not to show up positive if the pg is further along than the woman first thought...e.g. is you were 16 weeks for example the hormone level would perhaps not be high enough to trigger the blue line

The test came up as neg but my periods haven't kicked in yet. I'm going to do anotehr test tomorrow morning (to make the wee as strong as possible!) and have just booked a gp appt. Must admit I don't "feel" pg but it's starting to worry me now.
