Evap line?

Hi! I did a Clear & Simple test yesterday and today and got faint lines. However, I was feeling a little unsure about this brand of test as I got faint lines on them last month too (assumed it was a chemical) so I used another test and dipped it in water. And there’s a faint line on that one too!

Here are the 2 tests (I took them out the plastic to see better - I know, I know - but took photos immediately and lines were evident even with plastic on). Top one is with urine, bottom with water.

Given that both have lines, should I assume it is just an evaporation line and negative? (Never using this brand of test again!)

Evap line?

I can only see a line on the top one! x

I can see a line on both but the top is more noticeable/looks like it has colour, do you have another brand to try?

The bottom line is in a different place so I think the top is the only one with a positive result here

Thanks so much for your replies! I don’t have another brand at the moment but definitely going to get one. Just wondering tonight as I’ve been given progesterone to take from a positive pregnancy test as I’ve had 6 miscarriages, and had no idea if this was positive or not (probably not given my history) and can’t get to shop for another test until tomorrow x

I usually line teats up with a LH or something with similar line markings so its easy to see what is an evap… although that being said, redo another tomorrow if you can to see if there is any progression xx
