Pregnancy Test

Hi All -

So i’ve been feeling off the last week or so, biggest thing boobs are tingling like mad. Enough to put me off focus of what i’m doing. I’m due on Friday. I just want your opinions… we have been here before where I have had a positive and then bled a day after periods been due. I have also had a miscarriage at 9 weeks. I guess I just want to know… would you test or wait until day of period.

Oh gosh this is so hard because it’s a really personal decision. I’m sorry for your losses. I too have had an early mc after testing after my period and doing it all “right” not testing until after I was due on and I still lost it 2 weeks later. I’ve just had a very faint line and I’m 3 days before my period this time, I personally feel like I’d like to know what my body is doing and if I end up having a few more early losses then I know what my body is doing and can use it for info, otherwise I might assume I was never getting pregnant at all?

I’m not sure if that helps but maybe think if you’d prefer not to know if the worst happened?

this was my initial thought “if i test early, and then get a positive and then have another loss then at least its information and knowledge.” And i also thought “it wont make a difference if you test positive and have another loss its no different to you testing on Friday and then still experiencing another loss”. It would essentially be a loss all the same no matter where i take the test. I also thought “would you be upset more knowing it was another loss rather than periods come i was never pregnant”. I do feel like that would be easier to swallow and then finding out about another loss.

It’s all curiosity isn’t it, the mind wanders and gets the better of us. I think if i test, i’ll test tomorrow morning as its only a day early. Xx

Congratulations! Wishing you a sticky bean! I know it’s so hard, I’m in the same situation but just trying to relax as much as possible. Figuring nothing good will come of me stressing so just taking it hour by hour at the moment.

Have you had any symptoms other than sore boobs?

@DragonflyRuby thank you! I keep worrying every time i go to the toilet. Yeah I had waves of sickness / tummy ache, hormonal headaches and feeling tired. Just wanting to sleep basically. Xx
