Hi everyone,

Looking for a little bit of advice. My periods have always been regular- 27-31 days on the dot.

I've been ttc since Feb this year, but really trying since about April. I had a chemical in may/ June and periods went back to normal.

My last period started on the 2nd November and lasted until Wednesday the 6th, tapering off with a bit of brown spotting.

I had EWCM and signs of ovulation over the weekend and dtd accordingly. Then, out of the blue yesterday started bleeding. It's progressively got worse to period like bleeding when i wipe and somewhat filling a pad. It's very water and varies from vibrant red to lighter. I'm going to call my GP when the open at 8:30.

Very worried and annoyed this has happened when ttc. Think it could be stress or polyps but also worried about perimenopause (I am only 31 though) and ofc there's the dreaded cancer, though I have had my hpv vaccine and smears up to date.

Has anyone experienced this?

Many thanks

sounds like a period? What are you expecting from the GP?

Hopeful202592 · 19/11/2024 08:26

It's out of the normal bleeding for me just two weeks after the end of my last period. That is why I am concerned

Oh my goodness, the exact same thing happened to me. My BBT hasn’t dropped, so I thought maybe it was implantation bleeding but it’s gotten heavier since yesterday

Word for Word, I am the exact same age, same time that I started TTC .

UK based so trying to speak to a doctor about it. Waiting on an appointment.

What did your GP say?

Hopeful202592 · 19/11/2024 18:48

Hey , spoke to GP on phone. He said hormones and stress likely but to monitor in case of ectopic but unlikely with no pain and no positive pregnancy test.

I'm bleeding watery and red now and think it's a one off early period.

How are you?

So I originally thought it was a once off but it happened again this cycle.

thanks for sharing

Ah I see. My GP said it could be stress. Could this be the case with you?
