No line progression with ovulation tests? Does that mean I'm probably just not close to ovulating?

They seem quite dark, could I be close to hitting ovulation or is this the darkness they should be when it's completely negative?

I'm new to this! First time off the pill in years - so no idea on periods, cycles. I'm very irregular

OP, with kindness, stop testing for ovulation and have lots of sex (assuming you are trying to conceive).

Just enjoy it for what it is and allow your body time to settle from being on the pill.

Agree with PP, ovulation tests never worked for me but I got pregnant really easily every time.
Aim to have sex at least every 2 days, especially during the middle of your cycle

I think you aren’t ovulating and it’s probably due to the pill. Have you had a period since stopping the pill? It can take a while for your system to get back to normal. I would stop tracking for now until you get your first period. Then track so you can roughly work out when you ovulate in your cycle.
