We are currently TTC our second baby. Still breastfeeding my 15 month old. Got positive pregnancy test last week but this week has progressed to spotting and bleeding / cramps so assuming early loss sadly.

Hoping to try again as quickly as possible. I am 37 husband is 40 so don’t have time on our side. Looking for positive stories of people who have successfully conceived quickly after early loss / miscarriage.

I conceived first try after both my miscarriages. Second one was a shock because my cycle wasn't even back, I was bleeding randomly all over the place and couldn't pin down ovulation.

I just lost that baby, our little boy, at 19 weeks and noticed a huge amount of EWCM and strong ovulation cramps just two weeks later. So I think it can happen pretty quick sometimes. Sorry for your loss and wishing you lots of luck.

I was pregnant again exactly a month later...but that ended up being a chemical. I was then pregnant exactly a month after that and she stuck around!

Sorry for your loss OP. I had a miscarriage in the November & was pregnant again by the January, followed by a healthy pregnancy. Hoping you conceive again quickly.

Straight away - as soon as the bleeding from my second miscarriage stopped I started using OPK's and conceived roughly about 2 weeks later (so no period after the miscarriage) and went on to have a successful pregnancy. How heavy is your bleeding? In my first pregnancy I bled frequently throughout the first trimester but still want on to have a healthy baby, hope you are looking after yourself ❤️

I'm currently 2 DPO on my first full cycle after loss. I did ovulate two weeks after but didn't get pregnant.

Hoping it's this month 🤞🏼

That is quick! Congratulations! The bleeding has been a bit heavier than my usual period (my periods are light), overall manageable. I actually thought it would be heavier. It’s day 5 now and it’s tailing off now to be honest.

Im nervous that breastfeeding somehow caused it and it will happen again but I hear so many women breastfeed with no issues!

I’m also breastfeeding (12 mo) and while I don’t think effects pregnancy I do think we need to double up on nutrition (fish oil and chicken liver pate) and sometimes makes cycles longer which can make it difficult to pinpoint ovulation and thereby fertility.

I’ve had 6 losses and am hoping to conceive after my last one my next cycle. With previous miscarriages I have conceived the next cycle or within the next 2-3. All the best to you!

I have three healthy children.

Thank you. Sorry for your losses 🌺 that’s good you have conceived again quickly.

yes I have definitely noticed longer cycles. It feels like my body tried to ovulate over and other again (for say a full week). It’s almost as if the hormones haven’t got high enough to trigger it maybe due to feeding. It must be happening eventuality tho.

thank you hopefully these next cycles are lucky for us ❤️
