3days late. BFN 2days ago?

Hi everyone!
I’m 36, have been TTC for about 6months now. My periods are 28days like clockwork. Took test day period was due which was BFN. (2days ago) I’m 3 days late now and waiting for AF but have no symptoms of it showing like normal? Haven’t got any tests left but ordered some this eve. Has anyone else tested negative day AF was due then turned positive a few days later? I didn’t think I was taking it too early as it say you can test day of missed period? Holding on to a bit of hope for this month :)

I would expect it to be a decent positive by now, but it's also possible that you ovulated late and so are pregnant and just not showing on a test yet, or this cycle is a bit longer (happens even in very regular cycle). Fingers crossed for you! X

I’m in a similar boat, but have been trying for 12m now, but tracking everything for 18m. My cycles are 27/28 days like clockwork too, and then this month, it was 32… for NO REASON. I really thought this month was it, as the one thing I could always rely on was that my cycles were regular and I would know if I was actually late or not! I know this doesn’t help you at all here, but just wanted to add as I know how hard it is, and when you feel like your body is trolling you it’s even worse! Best of luck with everything xxx

thank you both for your replies! I will just wait and see a few more days before taking another test or see if AF shows. I conceived very quickly with my other children, however I was obviously a lot younger! ☺️ it’s just driving me mad each month tracking ovulation etc which I am sure you can relate to! Will keep you updated @PoppyPeaches hope you get a BFP soon ❤️x

@Stirrednshaken you were right! AF did a dirty on me!!! 🤦‍♀️ she arrived this afternoon Back to the drawing board! How do you make babies again? 🤔😂 never had problems conceiving before. Perhaps age isn’t on my side this time round. X

Booooo!!!!! It's rubbish isn't it. Hopefully things work out for you soon and your body remembers this whole pregnancy thing 😂 x

@Stirrednshaken yes not impressed! Curse you AF! 🤦‍♀️😂 are you trying to currently conceive if you don’t mind me asking? Just finding it frustrating as next cycle will be 7 months trying to conceive where as with my 13,9&6 year old I was extremely lucky and fell pregnant straight away, so a bit worried this time…. Although I have 3 beautiful children and am so thankful so maybe I should just let this go now and it’s just not meant to be? 🤔☺️ i think I will just stay off birth control and what will be will be ☺️
