didn’t need to wait till the morning - AF arrived full force so I’m out.

In 5 weeks I have my blood tests, ultrasound and gyno, and SA for DP, so feeling like there’s an action plan before 6 month mark, and hopefully all will be good / easy to improve and it’s just a matter of when not if. 🤞

Oh no, sorry to hear 😕

At least you know going into the new year you have all those tests booked in and you’ll hopefully get some support and answers x

Randaroo94 · 08/12/2024 05:21

Hey ladies, I’ve had flashing smiley on clearblue advanced opk for 8 days straight and I’m getting so frustrated and discouraged,I could have possibly got a positive cheapie test on the 5th but never got a solid smiley to confirm, idk what else to say just looking for support from someone who understands what I’m feeling right now, literally baby danced every day for 10 days straight so far and I’m so tired and I want this to happen so bad but I feel like it’s never gonna happen..

Marie1990x · 08/12/2024 08:39

Oh no @MyGardenDaisies I’m sorry 😔. Sounds like you have a good plan moving forward though x

Marie1990x · 08/12/2024 08:41

The crazy in me came out and I tested at 7dpo 🤦🏻‍♀️.
of course it’s BFN, but the even crazier in me is imaging something 😂. It was still quite dull outside so my camera has taken it really bitty to adjust to the light, so it’s probably just that

@MyGardenDaisies I am so sorry... next month will be it 🙏🏼🤞🏼

@Marie1990x well I admit that I see a little little shadow but if it is 7 dpo it's extremely early.. I hope it's the beginning of something 🙏🏼✨

Marie1990x · 08/12/2024 10:22

@pcbrb yeah I’m pretty sure it’s just the lighting and grainy bits. I don’t know why I get disappointed at a bfn at 7dpo when I know it’s near impossible 😂

Marge35 · 08/12/2024 10:56

Officially 1dpo today so let the TWW wait commence ✨

@Randaroo94 i experienced something similar this cycle too and we also DTD like 10 days straight plus a few more days here and there to cover all our bases. Exhausted was an understatement and romance was non existent by the end of it but we had to just do what needed to be done so I totally get how you’re feeling. I don’t know, I think clear blue maybe a little off, going to try a different brand or maybe the strips going forward because not going through that again. It will happen for all of us, the waiting is the most difficult part, but it will happen. We are all getting closer. I know it’s hard though.

JB2021 · 08/12/2024 13:18

Not had regular cycle as only been off the pill since mid October. AF due Monday and we did SMEP this month.

Can't remember symptoms with #1.

Had some symptoms that could be AF or could be a positive. Had possible bleeding in wiping in Thursday/Friday but nothing since.

Think I'm out but part of me thinks maybe....

KittyFantastica · 08/12/2024 17:21

@Randaroo94 Hello, I had this the first time I used the ClearBlue advanced last December. I gave up after a few days as my cycle was like clockwork at the time. Turns out, I have a super fast rise and peak, like within half an hour, and the monitor missed it. It could detect that LH had been high, so flashed for over a week searching for the peak.

I know indefinitely ovulated during that time because I get pregnant!

Kateb149 · 08/12/2024 17:35

Good evening all ☺️ AF has arrived for me so CD1, I will be ovulating again around 20th Dec so one last chance before the new year 🤞 I was a bit surprised as I didn’t have any bloating or back ache today like normal… But good luck to everyone who hasn’t had AF yet! x

Kinderbueno89 · 08/12/2024 18:59

Thank you so much for all the OPK advice. I’ve started testing even though I’m only cycle day 5, but feels like something to do! I’ve had varying cycle lengths so I’m curious (anxious) to see whether I’m actually ovulating with these

JB2021 · 08/12/2024 21:02

What cycle day are you all doing a pregnancy test?

MyGardenDaisies · 08/12/2024 22:19

@Kateb149 I will O on 23rd, so we can keep each other company. Haha which cycle will it be for you? X

I am feeling good about taking a step back this month, no ovulation testing, stripping supplements back to just prenatal and vitamin D, not seee cycling, and also allowing myself a drink if I want to during the holidays. Will still try to DTD around the right time but having a month to mentally relax.

you would think I’m much further than 4 negative cycles, but this is the result of first baby being positive on the first go with the first test. Eh, naive me!

@MyGardenDaisies and @Kateb149 really sorry to hear about AFs arriving 😢 sounds like you're both staying pretty positive though so will keep everything crossed that this cycle is your cycle!

@Marie1990x I can't believe you caved and tested today!! I've been half tempted to myself but managed to hold off! I feel like I can kinda see something but not sure!! Are you going to test again tomorrow?

Ah that will be lovely, i’ll be glad to have you! It’ll be cycle 6 for me so feeling a bit apprehensive as it’s been half a year now… but in more positive news my DH agreed to try out some supplements so I ordered them for him this evening. I’m hoping that helps our chances a bit in a few months 🤞

I’m sure it’ll be a massive relief for you to not track and have a break from it all. I’ve decided i’m not going to worry if I want a drink and want to eat badly this month 😅 i’ll make sure i’m healthy again from January!

I feel really naive too so you’re not alone there 😅 but i’m sure it’ll happen for us soon ☺️ x

I was exactly the same with my son, first try, first test. Bit of a shock to the system this time, cycle 5. Although I'm 40 so probably not surprising.
Just about to hit my fertile window and my husband is away til Friday 🤦🏻‍♀️ so kind of being forced to be relaxed about it. X

Hen2000 · 09/12/2024 07:02

I'm sorry af has arrived for some others too.

So pleased there are some lines progressing!

Cd4 here now. App is predicting I will ovulate right before Christmas on cd18. (Was cd24 last cycle)

If we fell pregnant this month we would struggle with childcare when I am due for my other 3 children. My husband is in the mindset of trying anyway so I'm not sure if we are trying this month or not but I plan to keep tracking

Marie1990x · 09/12/2024 08:29

8DPO and bfn today. I know it’s early but I’m counting myself out already. See so many people get faint lines so can’t see anything happening

Hello @Marie1990x don't get disappointed so early.. ingot a super stark white BFN on 8 dpo and on 10 dpo I got the faintest of all vvvvvvvvvfl and on 11 dpo I got a vfl but that at least was visible :) so you're not out until AF shows! Baby dust to you ✨🤞🏼

blackberryhill · 09/12/2024 10:11

Morning all - official BFN for me for that cycle, AF arrived late yesterday afternoon. Yesterday was rough, one of my NCT group messaged me to let me know (in advance of a meet up next week) that she's pregnant with Baby 3, less than a year after having her second. I'm glad she told me in advance, but had several cries yesterday afternoon thinking about how far behind I feel.

Booked in my HyCoSy for next Monday morning, not hyped about actually getting it done but hoping it'll give us some of that fertility boost that we got last time.

In two minds about whether I take letrozole again this month - it seems to have worked a treat for me, getting my progesterone to the highest it's ever been and extending my luteal phase from 10 - 11 days to 13 days, buuuuut it hasn't been prescribed by the clinic we're attending (got a private prescription from a GP) and I'm a bit worried that they'll be able to tell from my scan and that they'll tell me off 😬Not keen on skipping a cycle but definitely don't want drama!

MyGardenDaisies · 09/12/2024 11:14

@lynzmb @Kateb149 oh we are all then in the same boat nearly, at the 5/6th cycle.

I think it’s just you hear a lot of people like us getting baby nr 1 straight away, or the opposite, it takes 12+months. So this middle of 4-12 months I don’t actually see that much.

We will have our second babies one day 🤗

We can all spur each other on this month then ☺️

Same here, I find it’s less common for it to take this long… but when reading statistics we’re still in with a good chance 🤞 x

CoolSummer89 · 09/12/2024 12:42

@MyGardenDaisies @Kateb149 (and maybe @Hen2000 if you decide to go for it) I will also be ovulating on 22nd/23rd, so we can keep each other company.
