Had a little cry today as I am finding OPK/TTC/timed intercourse, supplements, all of this overwhelming.

deep line on the clear blue today but still flashing, so it will be again day 17 peak. Next month (if I am not pregnant yet) I think I’ll save myself 30£ and not buy a new kit, as it’s always peak on CD17.

Aaaaawww I’m sorry. I think all of ladies here can empathise with how you’re feeling. It’s tough and sometimes a little cry is needed.

Awww bless you...I'm sorry you're feeling that way. It's so easy to put loads of pressure on ourselves and then to feel like we're "failing" at it because TTC is not happening as quickly as we thought it would. I had this stupid idea in my head that I wanted baby No2 to arrive by August 2025 so that when DC1 was in year 2, DC2 would be starting reception and then they'd move up the school in tandem like that. Well hasn't that all gone out the window now anyway...I'd be happy just to get pregnant at this point!

MyGardenDaisies · 26/11/2024 19:22

@OscarVictorEcho I just want to have a 2nd too, never had a preference for a “summer/winter baby” or age gaps etc, it’s just we want to grow our family.

Hi jumping on from Nov group.. can't believe how quickly this one is filling up already!

Cycle 2 TTC #3 Currently 7dpo. Regular 28/29 day cycles and usually ovulate around CD18/19 so shortish LP.
This cycle however ovulated CD 14 or 15 (based on peak OPK).. so expecting AF this weekend / early next week.

I've promised myself I won't test until AF late as I got into my own head convinced I got lucky last cycle, but concerned it may not all go to plan at all with the odd early Ovulation/peak. Keeping my mind distracted with projects for homemade Christmas gifts 🎁 to stop any symptom spotting.

MyGardenDaisies · 26/11/2024 22:27

good luck @Nico89 !

Hi Everyone 👋🏼

I'm jumping over from November's thread too... Cycle 2 TTC #1. Currently CD4 so hoping to ovulate around CD12 (will start OPK's on CD8) and will test at 10dpo on 14th December - that's the plan anyway.

Last month was first cycle TTC and feel almost relieved to get the first negative out of the way if that makes sense. Taking a few more supplements this month to help and plan on drinking a lot more water and eating less sugar - a few controllables in this uncontrollable arena of life.

Let's hope for lots of BFP's in December and sending lots of sparkling festive baby dust to you all! X

Room4onemore · 27/11/2024 01:16

Hi everyone I’m on cycle day 5 today, hoping my period stops soon so I can start testing

lynzmb · 27/11/2024 08:23

Morning everyone, hopping over from Nov thread. I'm 10dpo based on Clue app prediction. TTC #2, cycle 4, DS is 7 in Feb.

Have been obsessively symptom spotting - anyone else?

AF due on Sunday but yesterday I felt the red mist of PMS rage and was v emotional so thought I was out. Have had low level cramps for days, some nausea and I'm shattered.

Wishing everyone good luck for this round ✨✨

Beanie14 · 27/11/2024 09:11

Can I join please. I will be testing on December 1st

KittyFantastica · 27/11/2024 09:47

@Sunch @wouldlovearoast @Marie1990x Thank you all. I've been around MN for a year now and it's a bit triggering going into December. I joined in December last year and was so excited. I couldn't feel further away from that poor girl I used to be now. It's been a horrific year.

All we can do is hope. I'll be here for the ride with you all, even if we decide not to try this month ❤️

Morning! Welcome to everyone new to this chat x I am sorry November has not been lucky for you as well. :/

I am on CD17 and as predicted got static smiley and EWCM!

Since it’s been 4 cycles and now it’s so regularly CD17, I won’t be doing Clear Blue OPKs if not pregnant in December. At least for one cycle I want to take that mental load off of me.

Any advice for both me and partner on how to deal with the pressure of TTC? I know it’s all in the mindset, but practically, how do you just relax and enjoy rather than feel like you have to, or you’re failing if you miss a day etc. ☹️

Hi guys, TTC for baby 2! Can I join please? Baby dust to all xxx

Ovulationstation · 27/11/2024 10:38

@MyGardenDaisies I totally get the pressure thing, we did SMEP one month & it was a real slog. Last month we just went with the flow & that didn't work either, it's a minefield!

tinybabydancer · 27/11/2024 11:09

Hi girls! Would also like to join :) trying for baby number 1. Been TTC for over a year now so any help or tips would be great! I did have a laparoscopy last month for endo so hoping I will have more luck this time SmileSmileSmile

BGxxx · 27/11/2024 11:48

I’m CD7 and have ewcm already, never used to get it until day 12 before I had my little girl. Think my hormones are still all over

MyGardenDaisies · 27/11/2024 11:54

@Ovulationstation ugh it is isn’t it. We have done 4-6 times in the fertile window for 3 cycles and no luck. This cycle it’s looking more like 2-3 times max, but I try to remind myself it just take some time, one swimmer and one egg, and life doesn’t stop just cause we want another child.

Hi ladies, love to join. Hope everyone is doing well.
Complicated here...
Haven't ovulated for many months. Have a 1 year old that only breastfeeds to be calmed and put to sleep. Feeding wise its 100% formula. My periods have not been regular since having baby and this would be my last chance to conceive as I'm an older mum.
I did progrestone blood test on day 24..I have no idea if that's late or early as I don't know when i ovulate really as everything is out of sync. I got so fed up of checking that I didn't check ovulation in November so it's a cade of checking whether I get a BFP or period around the 3rd Dec.
I have a telephone call with my GP regarding the results for my progrestone and urine test. Taking folic acid.
Stressed!

I’m in similar boat, still breastfeeding my 16 month old and have only just got a period back. I tried to track ovulation but it wasn’t happening and then all of a sudden got a period! My baby is not ready to wean so think I’m just going to have to put up with everything being all over for now

NamechangeTTC · 27/11/2024 15:17

@BGxxx hope this might be of use. I’m breastfeeding #1 and tentatively 5 weeks with #2. Toddler is 3. I wondered if it would impact but hasn’t so far.

I think thats a good decision as like you said you know it will be cd 17 so may as well save your money.

On the relaxing and enjoying i've no idea.... this is cycle 5 for us after my first 2 being conceived first cycle. That combined with my age (40) is making me stressed and a bit resentful if my dh if he doesn't fancy it on one of my fertile days. He says to relax and do it when we fancy but you literally can only get pregnant 1 week of 4 so if you miss that week then you're out for the month and the way i see it is that i've only got limited months.

1dpo for me i have been tracking bbt and seen a rise following my lh peak so does that mean i definitely ovulated?

We’re in the same boat so please don’t feel alone! My DH opened up to me last month that he was feeling the pressure to deliver and because I get upset when AF arrives it just makes it worse. We chatted about it and decided we’d still track but we’d try not to stress if it didn’t happen and only worry when we’ve been trying for a year. This month has been a lot better and we managed to DTD around 4 times in my fertile period still… but neither of us felt like it was just a chore!
It is so hard but I think just being open with each other is the best way to get through it.
I have wondered if we should try to DTD less because we’re on cycle 5 now and doing it lots clearly hasn’t worked for us 😅 but no idea if that will make a difference or not! X

MummyV2021 · 27/11/2024 16:12

It's so hard isn't it?! And often it feels like luck in terms of timing! I've had BFPs (turn into chemical/MC) on months where we've done it like twice! But my little boy (now 3) we did it every day for a week in my fertile window! So we're going with that method this month haha!

Last time we tried new positions and used different toys, lingerie and role play to help keep it spicy and fun and not a chore! Although we both mostly work from home so we might just do a lunch time quickie on 1 or 2 days 🤣

RG84 · 27/11/2024 19:10

@BGxxx it's so difficult trying to track isn't it.

Feeling a little down as I had my call with the GP earlier today and she said my progesterone blood test indicated that I didn't ovulate. Its meant to be 20 and above however I was at 10. Feeling bla.
