I got pregnant very easily with my 1st baby and now we have been trying for number 2 for 5 months and having no success. My little boy is going on 2.5 years old. I know everyone says it can take up to a year but I'm starting to get very down with it all.
I'm soon to be 32 and feeling really disheartened as another AF has just arrived 😭
All my friends are pregnant with baby number 2 aswell.
Just looking for reassurance and positive stories if anything.

Hi @KHMum123

Unfortunately I can't offer a positive story but I can offer sympathies. I'm in exactly the same boat, only we've been trying for number 2 for about 19 months now. I honestly never imagined it taking this long and I have so many friends pregnant with their second at the moment. It's really tough. I also very aware of the age gap growing every month.

I really hope your luck will turn very soon!

@JJB92 sorry its taken so long to reply. I decided to take things into my own hands and got fertility investigations in January. A large polyp was found in my uterus and I'm actually sat recovering from this removal as I type this!

How has your journey been going?

@KHMum123 I'm so glad you decided to take things into your own hands and that they found something they could resolve. I hope it's smooth sailing for you guys after you've recovered.

Still no success on our end. We are starting with IVF as soon as this cycle is over. So I'm hoping the end of this journey is near, but the IVF still feels like a mountain ahead of me.

@JJB92 I am also looking into IVF which we will start in a couple months if the polyp removal doesn't help...the not knowing is very hard isn't it.

Where are you based? Have you picked a clinic?
