Premom ovulation confusion ?

I am currently on day 41 of my cycle.

This is my first month off the contraceptive pill and I had my withdrawal bleed 2nd-7th October

But nothing since, no real period etc

I've heard some people end up ovulating super late when they first come off the pill so I've started tracking ovulation just in case

However, this makes no sense! I've just took 4 pictures at the same time of the exact same test, in the exact same lighting and they're all different figures Confused

Not to mention today's test seems just as light as the other ones too!

Is this app even accurate?

Did you have the test lined up correctly in the app when taking the photo? I found when I was using these that the best way was to take the photo using the app and it shows you where to put the test in the window so it is reading the correct lines x

Ooh im not sure actually, maybe that's it! Sometimes the app takes the photo too fast 🙈 I'll try get it exaclty in the lines from now on and hopefully it'll be more accurate

It’s worth a try! I found the results were off if it wasn’t in the test window properly as it was reading the wrong lines, and I’d also recommend always taking the test on the same background and place in the house. I used to have a notebook I’d place it on so that it had a clear white background, on the windowsill and did the photo there each time. It’s definitely hit and miss though! Good luck x

If it's your first month tracking it will adjust itself as your tests get darker, it has nothing to work off, as you track more it gets a better idea of when your peak and ovulation will be. Try to stick to the same place, same light etc. you'll know when you're about to ovulate as the tests will go really dark, so the numbers won't matter too much.
