Exactly 1 year ago today I was miscarrying in an A&E waiting room. Today I sit here with my 4 week old little girl.

The midwife said to me then, ‘Only worry about what you can control, you will get your baby’. She was right.

not everyone ends up with a baby though. An annoying thing about infertility/recurring pregnancy loss is the platitudes that accompany it, things people say like “don’t worry, you’ll get your baby in the end.”

well, not everyone does.
