@HE93C I think the same as @KT199 keep tracking twice a day, and it's a good sign !

I said it before but in case you missed it I watched this video from a gynaecologist and she said there's no late period, only late ovulation. So Lutheal phase should remain the same, but your ovulation date can vary. If you ovulate later this cycle, you will have later period :) idk if it helps but I know somehow it helped me understand my cycle better

Still bleeding over here, Cd2 I guess, but a way heavier period than usual because of the CM. I've taken some iron tablets just in case as I feel so tired and weak !

There’s so much conflicting info out there isn’t there! So hard to get your head around it all!

sorry about your CP, fingers crossed you feel better soon from it too! Xx

ThisOchreTiger · 14/11/2024 13:31

I think we’re pretty close @HE93C , I’m just a few days ahead of you. I had light cramping on my right side the day my LH peaked, assumed that was ovulation. Maybe that’s what you’re feeling? I’m sorry about your miscarriage. That would definitely contribute to overthinking.
@littlebluu maybe if you take a break from trying for a month? It really does take over! Stress has such an impact on our health. You could just take a month to focus on you and the things you enjoy.

Rest up and take it easy if you’re feeling unwell! 🫶🏻 self care is so important ❤️

Lila34830 · 14/11/2024 13:45

@KT199 definitely planing on resting until I am done with the big AF.

Have a lovely end of week girls, I might take a tiny break until I'm LH testing again 😅 I think it will do me good.

(I'll deffo still be watching in the background ☺️)

I'm with @littlebluu in this, next cycle i wOuld ditch the app the LH test, and the calendar and wont track anything and just be, maybe taking off the stress will help. But for now i have to get the damn AF, my cycle is unusually long this time around probably because of the CP or the HSG procedure,i started having sore boobs, usually af shows after few days of soreness.

@HE93C i struggled With LH testing, i feel ur frustration, i didnt caught a peak this cycle: maybe just dtd every other day and keep testing ofc. You never knw you might catch it.

@ThisOchreTiger happy birthday to you lovely may this year be the one for you 💫

ThisOchreTiger · 14/11/2024 15:19

I’m going to take a little break while waiting for AF and try to switch off from the world of TTC. Will be back with updates later in the cycle!

KT199 · 14/11/2024 15:45

Ive had my pelvic ultrasound and nothing to note of concern, but I didn’t have a dominant follicle yet which typically there would be by CD10, so I’m not really sure what that means.. the biggest follicle he could find was 8.6mm and he said usually it would be between 10-15 at this point reaching close to 20mm by ovulation. He told me to use LH tests and then I could book to go back after a positive LH test and they can use to confirm if I’ve ovulated

I was about to ask how it went, could it be that they calculated your ovulation with typical ovulation timeframes but that you will ovulate later during your cycle ?? (Like when I had my progesterone test ?)
I'm glad nothing "bad" was spotted though this is reassuring xxx

He based it on a typical 28 day cycle, but I think a typical cycle is considering a 14 day luteal phase whereas mine is shorter by a few days, so I guess on that basis I may be measuring at where a typical cycle would on CD8? I’m not really sure, I’m trying not to overthink it as I tend to spiral if I do and become anxious and stressed 😂

Heartypandaa · 14/11/2024 15:57

@Lila34830 @ThisOchreTiger rest well ladies, you will be missed, might join you after AF 🤞🏻
@KT199 glad it went well for you, i think thye should've based on your typical cycle, i would follow their instructions and go back to check for ovulation, dont over think this, good luck with the lh testing.

Lila34830 · 14/11/2024 16:08

@KT199 this will be what it is girl honestly don't stress about it ! They are so annoying with the idea of typical cycle, given that no one has a typical cycle !! Causes stress to people for nothing ...let us know what they say though next time you see them!

@Heartypandaa, I'll be back in a few days ready to pee on strips and moan about how my LH is never rising 😂

What a great little club we have 🦕

Morning ladies! And a happy birthday @ThisOchreTiger when it comes! I know how you feel my MIL is the same so I always try and have a "drink" in my hand when she approaches 😆😆

I genuinely think I'm out this cycle already ladies! I had such a short period (only 3 days) and Flo is predicting ovu for tomorrow but I'm still nowhere near LH surge - I'd been testing every 2nd day CD4-CD10 and it rose to .19 then surged on CD11 (Monday) afternoon up to .32 but I only tested once that day as .32 is still very low and I was expecting it to slowly surge from there, since then testing twice a day its dipped way down to .17 and back up sitting at .23 for the last 2 days, I get a very fast surge and short peak and so I fear it's all happened on Monday night and I've missed it 🤯🤯

I'll keep testing but I think due to having only a 26 day cycle, I've had a super fast ovulation and missed out!
I'm starting to get really frustrated with everything and it's almost making me resent it all 😔

🩵

@littlebluu i normally have 26 day cycles and this month I ovulated on cd16 so keep testing, you may not have missed it!

KT199 · 14/11/2024 21:31

Think I’m gonna tune out too as I feel really overwhelmed after that scan need some time to decompress!

Talk soon ladies and have a lovely weekend!

Toppstileslover · 14/11/2024 21:49

Just came to check in how your scan went @KT199 - don’t worry too much, think of it like a house survey they are paid to point out minor things that won’t matter 🥰 if you’re worried go back.

Almost forgot! Got my day 5 blood tests on tomorrow - not sure what they test. Hopefully the nurse will say hello / good morning this time 😂

our mortgage got approved today! I feel 99% less stressed already. Work stuff nearly sorted too then maybe I have a better chance given I was horrendously stressed this month

gonna tune out too - it’s my birthday on Tuesday and I am going to be on AF for another week or so then going on holiday.

Will lurk and pop in xoxo 🦕🦖🦕🦖

CD9 today. I measured yesterday morning and was 0.18 LH and then this morning 0.8. Now I’m worried I should have tested last night in case I was coming to peak however, my readings were CD6 - 0.13, CD7 - 0.2 so the 0.18 yesterday on CD8 isn’t too out of the ordinary. I’ve had 0.11 previously as normal too so 0.8 today doesn’t sound too low.

I’ll DTD today just in case but I wasn’t expecting it till the weekend at the earliest, Monday according to the app 🤷🏽‍♀️ so confusing isn’t it!

I’m up to 0.27 this morning so will test again this eve and potentially it will be ovulation tomorrow, or if the LH is coming down maybe ovulation today 🤷🏽‍♀️

We DTD last night so will do it again today and tomorrow just to be sure and see where we end up! Thanks for all of the advice xx

Lila34830 · 15/11/2024 08:09

Morning @HE93C !
Yes ! Definitely test morning evening, if it's not up by much really keep testing until you see the peak ! Sometimes it comes much later in the cycle.
Good luck ! 🤞🏼🫶🏽

Have a good weekend all 🩷
I finally stopped bleeding heavily, now it just looks like the end of AF so I'm gonna start LH testing too. I heard we are more fertile after CM / MC due to the level of oestrogens and hcg. I don't know how true this is but I will take the opportunity I guess we never know..!

morning everyone 🩷

hope your enjoying some much needed rest from TTC. I spoke to another GP for a second opinion today who has arranged a blood test and some swabs. No ultrasound though however, it’s only £145 for a private one on the street next to me so will see how it goes this month.

I am STILL bleeding after my chemical. I started spotting last Thursday so it seems to be going on forever!

hopefully this is our month girls

@Lila34830 i think we’re around a day or two within each others cycles this month!! Xx

Hi lovely, I'm glad the other GP is more proactive ! Mine have been so bad with unrelated issues I am considering changing...

Let us know what the scan says. I'm so sorry you're still bleeding ! It seems to be ages since your CP... it doesn't help with trying to move on as well bless you. Is it heavy or spotting now ? Xx

Heartypandaa · 15/11/2024 11:12

@Gemmaemilyx hi there, good luck with the testing🤞🏻sorry you bleeding has been going on for a while, trust your body, i've read many women bleed for longer after MC.

@HE93C glad you LH is rising, definitely keep testing.

I wanted to share a nice podcast with all of you '´as a woman by dr Natalie Crawford'´ i really enjoy it as she gets into the details, there are many episodes on many subjects. It really saves me time doing research haha.

Gemmaemilyx · 15/11/2024 11:12

@Lila34830 I don’t blame you! I think asking for a second opinion they’re more inclined to do something - I haven’t ever done that before until now!

its only spotting now luckily but it’s very pinky orange which is strange! My CP last month was around 3 days of full bleeding and came to a sudden stop!

the body is a crazy thing 🤣 xx

Lila34830 · 15/11/2024 11:12

@Heartypandaa I will definitely listen to this ! Thank you !

OP posts:
KT199 · 15/11/2024 11:21

Second what @Heartypandaa said! She also has a lot of really good YouTube videos too😊

Right ladies, I’m going to be quiet over the next week or so as I have got really overwhelmed with the idea that I’m potentially not ovulating at all and in all honesty I don’t want to ruin everyone’s positivity as mentally I’m really stressed now. I am going to re-book after my positive LH it least that way, I can know either way and speak to my GP for (hopefully) an early referral if needed.

Enjoy your weekends, think we are going to book a last minute log cabin which is hopefully off grid so I can’t consult dr Google and go back to work refreshed on Monday with a more balanced mind as I feel in the thick of my worst fears of never having children right now!

Itstime2023 · 15/11/2024 23:45

I hope everyone has a great weekend. I think a lot of you girlies have been going through a lot recently so I hope you get to take a moment for yourself and reset ❤️
