Follow up of the two following threads of TTC Baby number 1 🦕🦖

Hi all can I join? I'm 37 TTC #2 but been pregnant 6 times... My last being ectopic and needing methotrexate in October. First cycle TTC again now the wait period is over.
Had a crazy long peak this month of about 2.5 days but it's finally gone down . So I'm either 0, or 1dpo. Plan on testing from 7dpo with cheapies but not expecting anything til 9/10dpo which will be from 22nd onwards. Good luck all xx

Morning ladies, on my side no period still, and negative test. The tiniest bit of spotting like the size of a pea on toilet paper.
So I am starting to think I ovulated early.
I calculated my peak on 31/01 but I actually realise looking at my prepmom app that my tests are darker on 1/02...😓

So I could have ovulated between 1 and 2/3 Feb (as I don't track temp...).
I could either be 12 DPO, or 11 DPO or 10. It's really odd as I've never spotted before and tbh I don't really mind the result this month as I am fully ready for a ttc break but I am eager to move to a stage - regardless of what it is !
I'll keep you all updated.
I'd be very surprised if yesterday and today was implantation bleeding, but if I was 9/10 dpo yesterday then it could be possible.
Only time will tell but it's just draining.

@Lila34830 still have my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼 how long are you planning on taking a break, if required? I had bright red blood at 9dpo hours before my bfp so I thought I was out! Hindsight, I usually got pink spotting before my period. The body is a strange thing!! Xxx

I've had light brown spotting on wiping but nothing on my pads. I am cramping so it feels like Af is coming at last but still nothing. Very unusual for me as AF usually shows up straight away and bright red but this might be part of the wonderful world of ttc 😂

@Lila34830 it really is exhausting! If I was even just 2 years younger I’d be taking a break at this point also. I think a few months off would do us all the world of good!

Well I'm turning 35 soon but I think a few months isn't going to hurt ... I think I need it mentally !!
It is a horrible journey isn't it. The mental load of the woman is awful during ttc. I feel for all of us really. Glad is group is here though, it's been so helpful to share feelings !

@Lila34830 I’m 38, can’t afford a single month off but I would totally do it at 35/36! I’m confident we’ll all get there eventually x

did you get the referral in the end @Clara202? I was due to have my appt this week but we are moving in 2 weeks and I wanted to come back. I’m going to tell the same to my new GP as soon as I move though. I feel fine at the moment because I’m waiting for my period to come back but as soon as it does I think I’ll feel anxious for it to happen asap again (and stick this time - that’s the main thing 😞)

@Toppstileslover I have a referral to the public system which can take quite a few months so we have booked into a private clinic in the meantime. Those tests will be done when my next cycle begins, so between now and April we should have most tests done. Hopefully I’ll be pregnant before then and not have to do any of them 😅

I'm either 3 or 4dpo. Started the cyclogest. Now it's a waiting game. Had a little glass of something yesterday as it was Friday. If it's a BFP this month I won't be able to next week.
I know it's only cycle 1 (again) this time round but really hoping this is the month. We are going on holiday in April and really don't want to be in peak morning sickness if I can 🤞

AF arrived for me after 2 days of pink spotting I never had before ! Disappointing, but I am now abiding by my decision and taking a 2/3 months break. I'll be lurking for the BFPs and I hope they come in strong 🩷
You all deserve it so so much ! We'll all get to the other side in the end ! I'm convinced ! 🤍

I’m taking a little MN break, I feel a little overwhelmed at the minute and I can already tell waiting for my period to arrive post MC is gonna really stress me out!! I’m gonna check in from time to time, but hoping to try tune all the TTC out and just focus on being healthier and the wedding. 😊 I’ll defo be back once my AF has arrived!!

missed catching up with you guys!!

My period finally arrived this morning.. it’s felt like a long time coming but it least this chapter is now hopefully closed. Crazy to think I found out about my MC late December and only now is my body getting back to normal. We haven’t decided whether we will resume TTC this cycle or next.. with how it’s fallen my next period would be due the day we get home from our holiday to get married so.. whilst I’d be in my TWW technically not sure I want to worry about having a cocktail or glass of champagne/wine.. not that I think it would make any difference but it just wouldn’t feel right! The other half of me thinks there’s no way we’d also be so lucky that it would happen so fast so..

I'm CD14 I may have ovulated early or still waiting to. My body isn't behaving and I think it's my old age. Either way AF is due in 16 days

Still rooting for you all 🫶🏼 and keeping a check

DH has been working for 12 days at a time so between that and moving in Jan we haven't had an opportunity ttc! This will be the first month I've gone back to testing ovulation etc! Ov is due on the 19th-23rd according to my apps - but DH is away tomorrow morning 🙈🙈 So will have to count on dtd this weekend and hope this "5 day" rule is actually true 🥲

We arrived home yesterday from getting married and my period hadn’t arrived yet which id put down to all the travel as we were long haul.. much to my surprise two lines appeared immediately 🥹

I can't remember if I updated after last month, but after all the excitement of my BFP in Feb it all went south and I started bleeding at 5+5, ironically 3 years to the day of my previous miscarriage. What are the chances, hey? So I'm now on CD4 and trying to pick myself up after the hell that was March and hoping for better luck soon.
